    Special Alert! This weekend only!

    In and Of Itself alt

    ABNORMALCY: April 26 - 28, 2018. Thurs. 4/26 at 1pm and 8pm, Fri-Sat. at 8pm.

For four performances only, Todd Robbins will be performing his new show Abnormalcy at the Voorhees Theatre at City Tech College in the DUMBO section of Brooklyn. This solo show will feature all kinds of sinister amusement and evil entertainment. It is NOT appropriate for anyone under 14.

In this new show, Mr. Robbins draws upon his renown skill as a storyteller and illusionist to joyously explore the darkness we all have within us. As Mr. Robbins puts it, Its important to not only acknowledge that there is a hidden place in our hearts filled with malicious thoughts and black urges, but also occasionally allow this malevolence to come out and play. If we dont let off some steam this way, our shadowy side will come bubbling up in very unexpected and ugly ways. Just look at the last presidential election, and all that has come after it.

During the course of the show, Mr. Robbins will present all sorts of unnerving material, such as:
    • A number of unsettling games, including the most dangerous and deadly game ever created.
    • The telling of numerous disturbing personal stories, such as the first savage and hilarious NY subway crime he witnessed.
    • Hypnotically guiding several members of the audience on an encounter with the dead, including the dead possessing the bodies of the living.
    • A ghost story that will make people laugh one moment and jump out of their seats the next.
    • A card trick that resulted in the death of more than a thousand people.
    • Immersing the audience in disquieting experiences that they will remember for as long as they live, assuming that they live through it all.

    When: April 26 - 28, 2018. Thurs. 4/26 at 1pm and 8pm, Fri-Sat 4/27-4/28 at 8pm
Where: Voorhees Theatre at City Tech College (Map Link)
Tickets: $15-$20. For tickets, go to Brown Paper Tickets

    COMING SOON TO NEW YORK!

Six Impossible Things: by Josh Jay; June and July 2018.

What makes this show unique is that each performance hosts just TWENTY guests. This means you’ll see mind-blowing magic right in front of your face.

The magician is Joshua Jay, one of the most respected and revered names in magic. He is a former world champion of sleight-of-hand, a Guinness World Record Holder for card tricks, and a headliner at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. He recently fooled Penn and Teller on their hit show, Fool Us, and this show is filled with his original creations, none of which have been featured on television or his live shows.

The show is an experiential, sensory magic show. You don’t just and watch; you’re a part of it. Thoughts will be read, taste buds will be altered (temporarily), and minds will be expanded. It’s held in an escape room venue, where each illusion is paired with a specific environment. You’re standing for some segments, seated for others. One magic trick happens in the dark. Another happens alone; just you and Josh. This is the magic show reinvented.

Because the show is limited to just twenty guests per evening and runs just two months, the producers are asking people to attend just once and are enforcing this rule. So we encourage you to get a ticket before they sell out, and realize you can only come ONE TIME.

Tickets are now available and nearly sold out. You can reserve tickets at www.siximpossiblethingsshow.com. The show runs June and July, 2018. There is no chance for an extension, so the show must end at the end of July. We hope to see you there for an unforgettable night of magic, with Six Impossible Things
