     * Magic Brian Lecture 12/3/15 7:30 PM at Fantasma: Magic Brian has been a working professional magician for 20 years. He has performed both stage and close-up magic for all kinds of events private and public, he toured the US and Canada with The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, and appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman. He began street performing in 2001, since then he has performed his show in 18 countries and have been invited to the largest and most prestigious street theater festivals in the world. He won the award for Best Performer at The Windsor International Busker Festival in Canada, and Best Act at Stadtspectakel, an international street theater festival in Germany. He has created three successful street shows; a comedy magic-escape show, a smaller close-up magic show, and a show where he performs as a character called Nigel Blackstorm the Heavy Metal Magician.

In the lecture Brian will teach you the real secrets of street theater. It will not just be a series of magic trick demonstrations but instead useful and practical information on how to create a successful magic show for the street. He will go into detail about every aspect of the art from gathering a crowd to passing the hat, and everything in-between.

He will teach you about show structure, the importance of transitions, audience management, and how to construct a hat line that will get you bigger tips. He will explain, with examples from his own successful shows, how you can take almost any routine that you perform on stage or close-up and alter it so that it will work on the street.
